MacOS Catalina Update for Penteo 5 & 7 Pro Users
Penteo 16 Pro is 64 bit compliant and therefore fully supports Catalina. Penteo 7 Pro was a universal binary 32/64 bit design created in 2015 to be compatible with older 32 bit systems at the time when users needed both architectures. Catalina dropped support for any kind of 32 bit software, including universal binaries and therefore prevented Penteo 7 Pro from activating properly. Penteo 7 Pro Users should not upgrade to Catalina. Or, if your are upgrading to Catalina, please upgrade your Penteo 7 Pro license to Penteo 16 Pro which is native 64 bit.
