I used Penteo to upmix Stereo to Atmos 7.1.4 for Pearl Jam and A-Ha source cues from HBO's Emmy award-winning "The Last of Us" . Penteo always stays phase coherent with the source recording resulting in such a pleasing upmix that leads to a lot less equalization work later.

Current professional composition and audio post-production workflows need to adapt and transform audio content across platforms and between formats.

Imagine being tasked with creating a new audio upmix using Stereo and 5.1 source stems. Those stems nneed to be reversioned into formats for; Film (Atmos 9.1.4), broadcast/streaming (Stereo/LCR) and soundbars (3.1.2).
